Port Nolloth -
On 13 December 2012 we commissioned a safety system in Port Nolloth. The system consists of 40 vmsTRACK locators and a base station which is operated by a local individual. The system was supplied by our technical supplier techAF and has been in operation ever since. We would like to thank Richtersveld Local Municipality and De Beers for their contribution in making this happen.
Hondeklip Bay -
In August 2014 we commissioned a second safety system, this time in Hondeklip Bay. The system consists of 20 vmsTRACK locators, 5 VHF handheld portable radios and a base station which is operated by a local individual. The system was supplied and installed by our technical supplier techAF. We would like to thank Namakwa District Municipality for their effort and contribution in making the waters of Hondeklip Bay a safer place to work.
